A three-way collaboration between The Union LA, Bephie’s Beauty Supply, and Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG SP ‘Summer of ’96’ brings Chris Gibbs, Beth Birkett Gibbs, and Jordan Brand back together. Their own interpretation of the classic design sports a white leather upper with visible green stitching, a light grey Swoosh, and woven accents that harken back to the Nike Air Footscape Woven. The lateral ankle is adorned with a modest ‘UN/LA’ logo, and a yellow trim accents the shoe’s traditional lines. A woven Nike Air tongue tag and a tonal Wings logo imprinted on the collar flap are additional branding components. The sturdy rubber cupsole has a pre-yellew finish that dates back in time.
