This European Spruce top is from the Italian Alps and is well seasoned and perfectly quarter sawn. It is very close grained and displays the stiffness and tap tone European spruce is famous for. Our First Grade Tops are graded the same as Master Grade acoustically but might have slightly wider grain and or the slightest deviation in Grain Straightness. Our First Grade Tops are by far the most popular grade amongst proffesional builders Big enough for a Dreadnought size guitar.
