Description Bracket fungus pendant. Small life-size bracket, or shelf, fungi protrude from their lichen-encrusted host. This fine silver one-of-a-kind asymmetrical pendant was molded from real tiny shelf fungi on birch bark and is approximately 1 and 3/ 16 inches (35 mm) long by 1 and 3/16 inch (31 mm) wide. It weighs just short of an ounce at approximately 24.7 grams. Edges of the fungi are manually burnished to reveal a high shine while the smooth areas of the pendant are matte silver contrasting with darkly oxidized crevices. A sturdy hidden bail on the reverse will accommodate even a large chain. May be worn as a pin; simply insert a safety pin through the bail. The lightly-textured back is stamped with the fine silver mark (‘.999’) and maker’s mark (‘DPV’). The reverse has no patina. A small bracket fungus sprouts from the base of the bail. Includes a basic black neck cord with simple sterling clasp. You must select a desired neck-cord length before adding the pendant to your cart.
