Description This handmade one-of-a-kind pendant was created from 100% reclaimed silver. Containing nearly an ounce of pure silver, it weighs approximately 24.5 grams (0.86 ounces) and measures approximately 2 and 3/4 inches (70 mm) long by 7/16 inch (11 mm) at its widest point and 5/16 inch (8 mm) at its thickest point (excluding the bail). It is half-round with a flat back. Nicely detailed and beautifully textured, this organic solid-silver branch features a natural split in the bark, revealing the smooth inner heartwood core. A patina has been applied to the front of the branch, from light brown at the top to silvery tan below, and with light golden silver highlights on the side. The heartwood core has no patina and retains its unpolished matte silver finish. A sturdy hidden bail on the reverse will accommodate even a large chain. May be worn as a pin; simply insert a safety pin through the bail. No patina was applied to the reverse which is stamped with the fine silver mark (‘.999’) and maker’s mark (‘DPV’). Please note that sterling chain seen in photos is *not* included in this sale. A basic black neck cord with sterling clasp *is* included.
