Description Hand forged post-modern style solid sterling silver ring with large handmade solid sterling ‘nugget’. Made from hefty 1.7 mm thick and 9.6 mm (0.38 inch) wide sterling strip. Shank is not full circle; it was formed to fit below the nugget and was soldered in place. All three sizes have a similar design but were individually made, so the large sterling ‘stones’ vary slightly. No patinas or coatings applied. Overall tone is shiny silver nugget and glittery ‘diamond-dust’ look to the shank. The shank of the two smaller-size rings (7.5 and 8.75) have a more glittery diamond-dust finish than the size 9 ring which shows more of the underlying woven design of the original sterling strip.
