KYN28A-24 armored detachable AC metal-enclosed switchgear (hence referred to as switchgear) is designed for indoor three-phase 50/60Hz, 24kV power systems. The KYN28A-24 type switchgear has several functions to prevent misoperation, including preventing the handcart from moving with load, preventing the grounding switch from closing the circuit breaker in the closed position, preventing the grounding switch from being powered on, and preventing accidental entry into the live compartment. The switch equipment includes center-mounted high-voltage AC vacuum circuit breakers from the VS1 and VN2 series, as well as high-performance sealed vacuum switches.
